Our Story
Southern Comfort Bed & Breakfast is a restored 1910 center-hall cottage tucked into the Uptown/Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The property originally formed part of the historic Bouligny Plantation, and its restoration preserves the simple elegance of a bygone era while offering the comforts today's travelers expect.
Just two blocks from the St. Charles Avenue streetcar, the inn places visitors within easy reach of the French Quarter, Audubon Zoo, Tulane, Loyola, the Superdome, and the Convention Center, while keeping them in the quieter, tree-lined setting of the Garden District.
Three luxuriously appointed guest rooms—the Plantation Room, the Horizon Room, and the Bouligny Room—welcome visitors seeking the warmth of a small inn. Each morning begins with a full Southern breakfast and a cup of New Orleans' famous chicory coffee.
