Mr. B’s Bistro is one of my favorite places! I love the food, service, location, atmosphere and menu. Mr. B’s Bistro is definitely one of the brightest stars in the New Orleans restaurant scene. Situated in the heart of the French Quarter, Mr. B’s Bistro is located at the corner of Royal and Iberville Streets across from the world famous Hotel Monteleone. Cindy Brennan and her famous restaurant family opened Mr. B’s Bistro in 1979 and it’s become a French quarter fixture famous for regional specialties in a casual bistro setting.
Mr. B’s Bistro prepares authentic Louisiana food and is known for such signature items as Gumbo Ya Ya, a dark roux and spicy chicken and andouille gumbo, Barbequed Shrimp, a Worcestershire spiked butter sauce with garlic and black pepper, wood grilled local fish and Creole Bread Pudding with Irish whiskey sauce! Mr. B’s Bistro has always served the food of Louisiana. The first generation of Brennan restaurateurs recognized the magic of the state and its delicious indigenous ingredients. Mr. B’s Bistro serves local cuisine and remains passionate about this land and the riches it offers. Both Creole and Cajun dishes inspire the team at Mr. B’s and both styles of cooking sit harmoniously on the menu. Their mission at Mr. B’s Bistro is that all guests that pass through the doors will be welcomed with warm Southern hospitality and classic Louisiana inspired food. The luncheon special is a deal and you should try one of their $1.50 Martini’s!
