A few blocks from the intersection of Napoleon Ave. and St. Charles Ave.
A car is not necessary since the St. Charles Ave. streetcar is only 2 blocks away and will take you to key points of interest. If you do arrive by car or decide to rent a vehicle, street parking is plentiful and free.
Airport Arrivals:
The easiest transportation method from the airport is by taxi. We suggest that you use our driver. Cynthia is a local, very courteous and reliable we would be happy to arrange airport pick- up. Cost is the same as any other taxi service, a flat fee of $33 plus tip.
If you are traveling alone, without much luggage, another option is the New Orleans airport shuttle. The nearest shuttle drop off point is the Columns Hotel, which is only 3 blocks away. You must contact the airport shuttle to make advance reservations.
Directions To Property From The Airport:
Follow 1-10 East to the Central Business District (CBD).
Take Exit 234A towards the West bank. (Do not take the exit to the right leading to Hwy.90/Claiborne). Pass Loyola Ave. Exit. Note the St. Charles – Carondelet exit. Take this exit.
At 2nd traffic light, turn right onto St. Charles Ave.
Continue on St. Charles Ave. for 1.9 miles. Take note of Constantinople St. The next street will be Marengo. Address is 1739 Marengo Street.
Directions To Property From The East:
Follow 1-10 West to the Central Business District (CBD).
Take Exit 234C towards the West bank. Stay in the far left lane. (Do not the exit to the right leading to Hwy.90/Claiborne).
