Another year passes

Another Mardi Gras comes to an end. We’re all moving slow now, a bit exhausted from all the preparation and celebration.  Ladders and chairs lean against the house….beads hang from the trees and power lines on the Avenue…out of towners sort though their teasures trying to narrow what will fit in that homeward bound suitcase…. goodbyes have been made to new friends met on the parades with shouts of see ya next year. Until next year!
