Southern Comfort Bed & Breakfast – New Orleans Lodging Policies

Arrival Time:
There is no set check in time. If you arrive before your room is prepared, you can store your luggage, grab a key and head out to explore the city.

Parking:
The luxury New Orleans lodging of our B&B is located on a corner and offers ample on- street free parking space.

Departure Time:
Check out time is 11am. If your departing flight is later in the day, we are happy to provide a safe location to store your belongings until you are ready to leave.

Minimum Night Stays:
We do require multi-night stays during certain times of the year. It is best to call us if you are looking for a single night’s stay.

Children:
Children over the age of 8 are welcomed at our New Orleans lodging. Infants and younger children are also welcomed when the family occupies all rooms.

Pet Policy:
We do accept small dogs. Owners are responsible for any damage to our New Orleans lodging facility. We would prefer that the dog does not get on the bed or furniture, but we do provide a sheet if you do allow it. No barking. We prefer that your pet accompany you while you are away. If you must leave them in the room for a short time we ask that they be crated.

Smoking Policy:
We are a non-smoking New Orleans lodging facility. If you wish to smoke on the front porch or in the garden, we will be happy to provide you with an ashtray. Smoking inside will result in an immediate request to leave, and an additional cleaning fee of $250.

Open Flames:
Candles are decorative only. This is a 100 year old wooden structure please do not light any candles or incense.

Payment Method:
We accept cash, traveler’s checks, Visa and Mastercard.

Cancellation Policy:
Standard Night Stay: One night’s deposit is required to confirm a reservation for New Orleans lodging. Balance is due on arrival. If your change in plans is made fifteen (15) days prior to your arrival your deposit will be refunded minus a $35 cancellation fee. If you cancel after that time, your deposit will not be refunded if the room is not re-booked. No refunds for early departures.

Special Events:
(Includes New Years, Sugar Bowl, Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, May Graduation, July 4th / Essence Fest, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.) One night’s deposit required to secure the reservation. Full payment due 60 days prior to event. The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation less than 60 days before arrival will result in full payment if the room is not re-booked.
