It’s almost here.Anticipation pervades the neighborhood as we ready ourselves for the big weekend ahead. The most colorful parades start tomorrow! Anyone living within a short walk, like our B&B;, are getting out the barricades and ropes to save parking space for family and friends. This is a time you realize you have friends you didn’t even know. A nearby bathroom is a wonderful addition to the parade experience.
The neutral ground between the streetcar tracks on St. Charles is awaiting the influx of ladders, grills and revelers. Well…. I better go dust off the ladders and chairs and start getting ready myself!
